Atlantic Link Management Services Ltd was formed in early 2005 by Gerard Kenny and Eric Werner, both of whom have previously started and successfully sold IT services companies in the City of London.
Since its inception Atlantic Link has recruited top flight project managers, business analysts and banking specialists with extensive business experience, proven track records and complementary skills. Gerard co-founded Atlantic Link together with Eric Werner in 2005. He began his career with ten years in banking with international operations management experience in cash management, treasury, financial accounting and securities and lending processing. His move into IT sales management for Computer Sciences Corporation in the mid 1980s maintained the connection with finance and banking with some of CSC’s major clients, amongst them, London Stock Exchange, Nat West, Swiss Banking Corporation and EFT POS.
Gerard was group sales director at NMW Computers and became managing director of Gresham Financial Systems, part of Gresham Computing plc – one of the fastest rising shares on the London Stock Exchange in 1998. Gerard co-founded Simplex Consulting Ltd as an independent consulting business and achieved solid success by establishing the UK’s first SWIFT ASP approved service, selling the company and achieving his earn out in 2005.
Gerard’s mantra throughout his career has been to deliver shareholder value and exceed customer expectations. |
Eric Werner

Eric is a successful investor and entrepreneur with 28 years experience of working in IT in the City. He worked in a number of operational and sales management roles mainly in Capital Markets IT related companies.
In 1993 Eric launched a new execution only share dealing service (Citydeal) within Sherwood International PLC, which was sold for a profit of over £6M. He led a management buyout of Consort Securities Systems in 1994, raising more than 50% of the equity from clients. That company grew 10-fold over the next 8 years to £5.2M prior to its sale in 2003 to Investmaster Group Ltd, realising a 10-fold return to the founding shareholders.
Eric is a Non-Executive Director of GHC Group, a capital markets and fund management firm, and is a business angel for 10 UK and US companies.

David Whitehouse

David is a vastly experienced senior manager who has worked in Capital Markets, mainly in software houses, for over 30 years. He has been Managing Director or CFO of Exchange Systems, SAM Group, Mondas PLC, and ACT and has been involved in flotations, acquisitions, trade sales in those roles.
David oversees a range of functions including HR, finance, legal and office infrastructure. |
Mark Fernandes

Mark has worked in the City since 1987 rising to senior positions in IT Management and, more recently, Operations.
Since joining Atlantic Link, Mark has worked mainly in the Alternative Investment Market space for a well-known Asset Manager and then a software house supplying enhancements to the Fund of Funds product required by a tier 1 bank, prior to that Mark in-sourced the back office function and implemented a straight through processing, front to back office solution, for a niche brokerage in the City. |
Mark Standish

Mark joined Atlantic Link early 2007 as a director of the Hedge Fund Services Practice from Capco and was previously Head of Professional Services (EMEA) for Advent Geneva. He has over 10 years experience within Alternative Investment Markets delivering business and operational solutions. Mark’s versatile skill set varies from strategy and market analysis to project management, implementation and operational areas - focussed particularly on Hedge Funds and their services providers. |
Gary Brown

Gary is a senior delivery / programme director with over 22 years working within Asset Management, Investment Banking & Security Services. Prior to joining Atlantic Link, he worked for AXA Investment Managers (Global CIO/Head of Programmes), IBJ International (Head of IT), Mercury Asset Management/SG Warburg (Head of Systems) and CCF (software house/Product Manager).
Management responsibility has included 340+ staff (multi location), annual budgets of $100m+ and an annual portfolio of 100+ projects. |

Paul Mahony |

Paul has 23 years experience in Capital Markets, buy and sell side, front office trading systems and back office settlement and accounting. He has managed major programmes of work to develop and implement solutions globally for order management, trading, position keeping, risk management and operations.
Before joining Atlantic Link, Paul worked in senior positions at BZW, SBC, UBS, Merrill Lynch and ODL as well as working as an independent consultant for Credit Suisse, Cazenove, Deutsche Bank and Herzog. |
Ian Yexley

Ian is a senior consultant within the Capital Markets practise
with over twenty years experience within investment operations. He
has previously held roles as
Head of Client Reporting and Head of Reconciliations and Cash Management
and has worked at several top tier city companies including F&C, Dresdner RCM
Global Investors, Morley Fund Management and JP Morgan. |
Jinnan Li

Jinnan is an analyst programmer / business analyst and product manager with over 10 years Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Portfolio Accounting, and Fund Reporting experience.
Prior to joining Atlantic Link, Jinnan worked for Fortis Prime Fund Solutions and GlobeOp FInancial Services. Extremely strong analytical skills combined with an in depth understanding of the Fund Administration market, specifically Fund Accounting using the Advent Geneva Portfolio Fund Accounting System. |
| Jonathan Want |

Jon joined Atlantic Link in April 2005 as a consultant having worked in
the financial services industry for 13 years. Jon started his career in
software before playing a key role in the startup of a private client
stockbroker. He then spent four years as an operations analyst with two
major investment banks before returning to the software side of the industry to run the London
office of Peter Evans for four years. Jon worked as an account manager
for Investmaster before joining Atlantic Link. |
